Tooth extraction

Tooth extraction is a dental procedure in which a tooth is pulled out of the socket in the bone where it rests.There are 2 types of tooth removal procedures: simple extractions and surgical extractions. Wisdom tooth extraction may be either a simple extraction, surgical extraction, or combination.

You may require a tooth extraction for any of the following reasons:
- Your tooth has been damaged due to an accident or trauma
- Your tooth has been irreparably damaged by decay
- You have overcrowding and need an extraction to make more room
- Your wisdom teeth are impacted and need extraction
